First of all, we’re so happy she’s back with the National Team this season.
As of press time, Poland just defeated Serbia in 5 sets to play for the Gold Medal in the ongoing European Games.
In an interview released by cev. lu, Kasia reveals THE REAL REASON why she left Poland last year after failing to qualify for the 2014 FIVB World Championship..
“I missed the 2014 season with the national team because I needed a break, it felt like I had reached my limits from a physical point of view and needed some time to regenerate and charge the battery. Right now I am just very happy to be a member of this group – actually one of the oldest ones – and it doesn’t really matter in which position I play.”
It looks we will be seeing more of the 2003 and 2005 European Champion this season.
Kasia’s leadership is valuable to the team and we hope she remains healthy and hungry to lead this new generation of players.
