The 2011 European Champion from Serbia has played in 3 different clubs this season.
He started the 2016-2017 season in the German League with BR Volleys. Since it didn’t work out well for Nikola and his team, both parties mutually agreed to end his contract. After that, the 34 year old moved to the Iran League after sealing a contract with Paykan Tehran VC. Nikola and team ended the season over a week ago with a silver medal.
After a short stint in Asia, he now has a new club team in France – Rennes Volley. The outside hitter is expected to lead this team with his experience plus his all around skills. Rennes Volley is currently in the second division and winning the league will give them a ticket to play in the top league next season.
We hope Nikola’s presence will guide and lead them.
