The career of Serbian opposite hitter, Tijana Boskovic, continues to blossom after leading her Turkish club team, Eczacibasi VitrA, to win the 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship. The 19 year old was awarded as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and chosen as The Best Opposite Spiker.
Boskovic is the second Serbian player to win the MVP award. Her teammate, Jovana Brakocevic, was the first player to receive such recognition 3 years ago in Zurich.
At the 2016 Olympics in Rio, the left handed spiker won a silver medal.
