In the 90s, the volleyball world had the legendary Obayashi from Japan, the Brazilian Leila Barros, the screaming lefty Regla Bell , Antonina Zetova from Bulgaria, China’s Cui Yongmei and the powerful server Elles Leferink from Holland.

Then in the 21st century and at present, we have a few left handed volleybelles who are extremely talented like Nancy Metcalf from the USA, Dutch player Maret Grothues and Canadian Sarah Pavan.

But one lefty who deserves the title as the most powerful left handed hitter in the world at the moment is none other than Turkey’s Neslihan Darnel. She’s got an explosive arm!

She’s not just a great player but Neslihan is also an FIVB Hero.
