Puerto Rican star Aury Cruz, is now the all-time leading scorer of Italian club team, Villa Cortese, after reaching 1,300 points! With this achievement, the 30 year old has dethroned Cuban Taismary Aguero who was Cortese’s superstar last season.
Anyways…
There are still several matches to go for Cruz and her teammates in the Italian League and the Champions League, for sure she’s going to keep racking up more points to make it more difficult for any current or future Cortese players to beat her record.

In case you didn’t know, this is Aury’s 3rd season with Villa Cortese who also has 2011 World Cup silver medalist Lindsey Berg and Canadian opposite Sarah Pavan.
