January 12th, 2012 UPDATE: The DRAMA is OVER!
One of the world’s best middle blockers from Cuba, Robertlandy Simon, is in Italy and has signed on to play for Copra Piacenza for 3 seasons according to a source but unsure on when he’d play his first match. Well, we’re glad the drama between Simon and the Cuban government has been resolved and that he’s allowed to leave Cuba to play professionally.
Knowing that he’s playing pro now, we have a feeling Simon is officially RETIRED from playing with the National Team.
Boo!
