2008 Olympic Champion Reid Priddy will play in the Italian League with Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova – one the world’s best club teams this season.
Reid reportedly went to train with the team last week and he may make his team debut sometime next week.
If Lube has indeed signed him on, the Priddy will join some of the world’s best players like Osmany Juantorena, Simone Parodi and Klemen Cebulj. Micah Christenson, Jenia Grebennikov, Marko Podrascanin and volleyball legend Ivan Miljkovic are also on the team.
According to this report, Priddy will replace Jiri Kovar – who is still not in the best shape post-surgery.
After that ACL tear in 2014, it’s great to see Reid back on the court!
