Giba’s Truth
In this article, Giba is quoted saying that Bernardino planned the match BUT never confessed the truth to the media. He did not like the strategy but had no choice but to follow him. When they returned to Brazil, he was upset on Rezende’s attitude when he did not grant any media interviews.
“Bernardino ran away and left us players alone to face the media.” says Giba.
Bruno’s Cryptic Post
Upon hearing about the interview, Rezende’s son Bruno posted this on his Instagram.
