Hours after their victory, Jordan Larson, Boskovic and the entire team visited Thaisa.
“The MR and CT scans taken today of our star player Thaisa Daher Pallesi show an injury in the ligaments of her ankle and a very small lesion in her cartilage. Our player will rest for three weeks with her ankle in a plaster splint, after which she will begin physiotherapy with an ankle restraining boot. At this stage, there is no indication that she will require surgery.” -Eczacıbaşı Sport Club

UPDATE #3: KOSHELEVA STAYED THAISA
Based on this IG post by Thaisa, Kosheleva and her husband spent the night in the hospital to be with her.
They are rivals when they play for their country BUT it’s great to know and to see that their friendship has no boundaries.
UPDATE #2: NESLIHAN SPEAKS UP
The captain of Eczacıbaşı VitrA, Neslihan Demir Güler, bravely spoke at the post match press conference about Thaisa.
“We were shocked. It was unfortunate that this happened during the game. We played every point and all remaining sets for Thaisa after she left for the hospital. This win is dedicated to her. We are praying that she comes back soon in good health.”
UPDATE #1: NO FRACTURE
Thaisa’s husband has revealed his IG story that Thaisa will need to go a series of tests first to determine the nature of her injury. Surgery is an option but will only be done if it’s really needed. Guilherme also said that Thaisa is a fighter and will recover from this injury.
THAISA IS INJURED

As we reported a couple of hours ago, the middle blocker who plays for Eczacıbaşı VitrA may have a suffered a very serious ankle injury when she collided with another player after a block attempt. It looks like she may have a BROKEN right ankle.
Thaisa’s teammates Jordan Larson, Neslihan Darnel and Tatiana Kosheleva were caught crying upon seeing their teammate on the floor screaming in pain. Even players from Fenerbahce could not believe the nature of her injury.
Thaisa MAY need surgery as soon as possible.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA won the match and will advance to the Final 4 of the prestigious CEV Champions League.
At the end of the match, the players got emotional and posed for a team pic with their hands showing the number 6 which is Thaisa’s jersey number.
We also found out that Thaisa’s husband who lives with her in Istanbul is currently visiting Bazil and may cut his trip short to be with her.
