A young volleyball player from Brazil who plays for RJX club team was robbed & assaulted last Sunday in the southern city of Rio De Janeiro. After attending a party at a friend’s house in Copacabana, Renan was on his way to a bus stop when several guys approached him and started beating the sh*t out of him which resulted to fractured bones in his nose and face.
It will take weeks before he can fully recover.
How Scary and Awful! Luckily, the injuries he suffered are not life threatening but we can’t picture the trauma due to this forgettable incident.
Rio will host the 2016 Olympics, so we hope the city will be much safer by then.
Before we forget, the robbers wanted to steal his cellphone.
