First of all, we’re glad she has rejoined the team for the World Championship but at the same time we are quite surprised with her decision! She gave birth less than 2 months ago and returned just in time for the tournament.
Well we’re not sure if she’s in the best shape to play. Maybe the other setter, LAURA, will be the starter and she’ll be on the bench. May coach Avital is taking her to Japan to provide leadership and share her experience to the young players.
If we were Kim, we would’ve stayed home to spend time with the newborn. Volleyball can wait but the joy and time of being a mother is priceless and irreplaceable.
We respect her choice and we wish her and the team the best! Hope they win something.
