The reigning queen of international volleyball is back!
There’s no doubt that 2010 was Gamova’s year. She led Russia to defend their crown at the 2010 World Championship wherein she was hailed as the MVP of the tournament after defeating Brazil in an epic final match.
Katya’s success didn’t stop in Japan, she received numerous awards back in her country. Katya was named as the MVP of the 2010/2011 edition of the Russian League after winning the crown for Kazan.
We really really love to see her hitting balls over the blockers just like what she did at the 2010 World Champs.
Remember this?
Russia missed the 2010 edition and as far as we know the last time they won the Grand Prix was in 2002 against China with former star outside hitter Artamonova winning the MVP Award.
Anyways, are you excited to see Gamova at the Grand Prix?
We are! We are!

Without Sokolova and Kosheleva on the team, Russia’s fate heavily relies on Gamova.
