The VI Pan Am Men’s Volleyball Cup will be hosted by the beautiful Canadian city of Gatineau from June 13th-18th, 2011.
A total of 10 countries are confirmed for the tournament. Defending champions U.S.A., Puerto Rico, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Panama, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Canada – the host. Noticeably missing is Cuba – we wonder why.
The tournament will grant any of these teams the opportunity to qualify for the Olympics and 2 lucky teams will also win berths in the prestigious 2012 World League.
With the absence of Cuba (No Cuba? This is the bad news we’re talking about!), Canada has the edge among other teams to play a great fight against USA and hopefully win a spot to play in the 2012 World League. Under Coach Hoag, Canada is one of the teams to watch in this tournament.
