Up till 50 volleyball courts will cover Fælledparken in Copenhagen in the Final Four Weekend of EuroVolley2013. Everybody can test their own skills before they go 100 meters to Parken Stadium and watch the big stars compete for the gold.

Join the grand volleyball get together in Fælledparken.
The 2013 CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship – Men shall not only be a party for the elite – it shall also be a party for the slightly skilled players. That is the hope of the local Danish organizers, who invites everybody to join a grand volleyball-tournament for all levels just before the finals – free of charge.
The very best of European volleyball gather up in Copenhagen the 28th and 29th of September, when Parken sets the frame for the Final Four Weekend of the 2013 CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship – Men. And just 100 meters from the football stadium the nearby public park “Fælledparken” will be covered with up till 50 volleyball courts and volleyball players in all ages, levels and nationalities.
”EuroVolley2013 is not just a championship for the elite. We would like to invite all volley fans to be part of the party that this year’s championship hopefully is going to be. We are making a lot of side events in Denmark, and one of them is this grand volleyball get together in Copenhagen, where everybody no matter their skill level can participate. The idea is that you have fun playing some friendly matches of volleyball and afterwards walk 100 meters to Parken and watch the big stars of European volleyball compete for the gold medals,” says managing Director of the local Organizing Committee for the EuroVolley 2013, Mads Bang Aaen.
It is free of charge to participate in the tournament.
“We hope that fans from all of the 27 countries, who have bought tickets to the Final Four Weekend this far, will participate. Team up with friends, teammates or family and test your own skills at the court before you cross the road to Parken and watch the professional players,” says Mr. Aaen.
The tournament in Fælledparken starts at 11.00 both Saturday and Sunday. So there are plenty of time to play yourself and walk the 100 meters to Parken afterwards.
Saturday the 28th of September semifinals are played at 15.00 and 18.00.
Sunday the 29th of September bronze medal match are played at 15.00 and final at 18.00.
