After a disappointing run at the Final Round of the World Grand Prix where the team finished 6th and failed to defend its GP title, Coach Karch Kiraly strengthens his squad with several 2012 Olympic silver medalists Jordan Larson, Megan Hodge, Tamari Miyashiro, Christa Harmotto, Courtney Thompson and Nicole Davis for the World Grand Champions Cup, a quadrennial event to be hosted by Japan. Take note, 5 time Olympian Danielle Scott is also on the preliminary roster.
