The defending Olympic champions look STRONGER than ever before with the return of Dmitriy Muserskiy. In case you didn’t know, Dima took some time off due to personal reasons and missed the European Olympic Qualification Tourney earlier this year. Even without Dima, Russia qualified for the 2016 Olympics and will defend their Olympic title.
Muserskiy is not the only one back with the team.
Alexander Markin, who got tested positive for meldonium but cleared by the FIVB, is also back after getting suspended for a few months this year.
Former player of the Slovakian national team, Lukas Divis who gained Russian citizenship in 2014, and is now a legit member of the Russian squad.
Will he make it to the Olympics? Most likely.
