FIVB To Fine Poland?
The President of the Iranian Volleyball Federation, Mohammad Reza Davarzani, confirms that he has talked to FIVB President Ary Graca and that claims Poland will be fined by the FIVB after the Olympics.
This is in regards to the unpleasant incident a few days ago after the Poland vs Iran pool play match where players from BOTH teams displayed poor behavior.

We wonder if Poland will appeal any fine from the FIVB after Rio.
Poland VS Iran
This is just very disappointing.
Michal Kubiak, Bartosz Kurek & some Iranian players totally forgot the meaning of the Olympics & what sportsmanship truly means. The incident happened right after they won an intense 5 set match in pool play of the Olympics.
Forget the handshake, they want to fight instead? This is when #volleyball players DESTROY the value of sportsmanship and take note this happened in the Olympics.
At the post match press conference, Kubiak wants the world to know this it is part of sports. His attitude is based on what the opponents do towards him and his team.
“It is just the emotion showing that we have won the game. They laughed in our face down on the court, I don’t care. For me it is just part of the sport. We stare at them, they stare at us, they smile at us, we smile at them. It is just sport. But, the most important thing for me in the end is the result.” -Kubiak.
Also, the whole incident was not and will never be a beautiful sight to see for the young generation.
Thoughts?
