Setter Alisha Glass Wants Olympic Gold In Rio

Alisha has been part of Team USA for several years now and she will make her first Olympic appearance in Rio next week.

In an article released by woodtv.com, the 28 year old former star setter from Penn State and 3 time NCAA champion only wants Olympic gold.

“To win in Rio would be actually making history, and so I think we all feel something special brewing on our journey towards that. I’ve been a part of really great teams, and some pretty cool championships and I’ve been able to be successful there, but this one takes the cake. This one’s pretty amazing.

So I think that’s what we’re working towards and we want nothing less.”

USA, the #1 ranked team in the world, is obviously one of the favorites to win together with hosts Brazil, Serbia, China and Russia.
