Michal Kubiak, team captain of Poland, remains optimistic and is in great condition for the upcoming World Olympic Qualification Tourney in Japan which starts this Saturday.
In an article released by the FIVB, the outside hitter shares his thoughts on the tourney which will only have 4 Olympic tickets out of the 8 teams competing.
“We went to Japan earlier, we have a little peace, to practice and to hone what is failing. The organizers provided us with the right conditions and we can also play another test match. First of all, in training we need to focus on our mistakes, which we make far too much.
We have to concentrate on what will happen on the court in Tokyo. We trust the members of the coaching staff and we know that this technique, tactics and freshness will come. In Japan, we will be ready to win this tournament.”
