2016 Olympian and one of the world’s best middle blockers, Robin De Kruijf, is confirmed to miss the 2018 FIVB Women’s World Championship which starts this Saturday in Japan. The 27 year old who also missed the 2018 Volleyball Nations League is NOT in the best shape to compete after an ACL surgery last March.
Robin is now in Italy to start training with her club team, Conegliano.
