Regardless of how they did in London, we’re still proud on how Australia performed at the 2012 Olympics!
Team Australia qualified for London by winning the Asian Qualification Tournament in Japan. Take note, Iran was the top favorite to win the Olympic ticket BUT the Volleyroos totally came out of nowhere and displayed great volleyball throughout the tournament under the guidance of Coach Uriarte from Argentina.

In London, Igor Yudin and Team almost defeated Italia in 5 sets but the highlight of their Olympic journey was defeating in Poland in 4 sets. The outcome of the match perhaps affected Poland’s chances of playing against an easier team in the Quarterfinals. Polska ended up facing the eventual Olympic champion Russia.
