Lindsey Berg to Alisha Glass

Yehey!

American setter and 2 time Olympian Lindsey Berg has shared some humble words to freshman international setter ALISHA GLASS, who is the starting setter of Team USA. Berg passes the baton to Glass. Isn’t that cute? Here’s a few quotes from an FIVB Article:

On her return:

“About two months ago I rejoined the team and competed my way back onto the roster and here I am in Japan happy to be back and trying to contribute to the success of our group. “

On Alisha Glass:

“Alisha is great. She needs more international experience but she is very talented & I want to help in her development as much as I can.”

Also, Coach Hugh has a few words for the second setter:

“She (Lindsey) is here because she made the team and, of course, she brings her experience and can be a factor to stabilize our young team.

Side Dish: At 30, this is Berg’s first ever World Championship. This is the ONLY tournament missing on her Resume. G-luck LiLi! Hope to see you in 2014.
