She is such a talented player just like her sister Lucia.
The 2012 Olympian has decided to compete in the Brazilian League next season with Sollys Osasco. She will replaced Fernanda Garay who will play in Turkey with Fenerbahce.
Caterina says…
“I’m still very young, but I am convinced that I can do well and help Sollys. I hope to be helped with the Brazilian language by players who have played in Italy. I expect to make the fans happy. I know that volleyball is popular in Brazil and that will give me even more motivation to play better.”
As far as we know, Caterina becomes the second Italian player to ever play in the Superliga next to the famous Francesca Piccinini.
Superliga will do wonders for Caterina’s volleyball skills knowing that Italian fans have so much hopes for her to lead Italy to medal or win the gold at the 2016 Olympics which will be in Brazil.
