Hang in there Jen! 2013 is almost over!
In a recent interview published by the LA Times, 2012 Olympic silver medalist & beach volleyball player Jen Kessy confesses that 2013 is one of the WORST YEARS of her life and her father’s death still leaves her with a broken heart.
“It’s just been one of the worst years of my life. I feel like I have a broken heart still. It’s just one of those years. Not the best of my life.”
Jen’s dad passed away earlier this year in his sleep after a heart attack. He was 57.
The 36 yr old American athlete also reveals that she is still friends with April Ross despite the fact thay have split up. April is playing with Kerri Walsh up to the 2016 Olympics. “We’ve never had an argument. We had talked about in April before the Olympics, about what would happen after.” says Jen.
