We’d like to share some interesting facts and figures from the 2011 FIVB World Cup like who has the highest spike reach, the most experienced, the oldest and the youngest player and many more!
At first, Coach Guimaraes told the media he didn’t (and still doesn’t) like the point system at the World Cup. Now, another coach joins the bandwagon & questions the “schedule”.
To be more specific and more accurate, the first set between USA and Italy was the highest scoring set in World Cup history! The score was won by Italy with a score of 41-39. Epic! WATCH IT NOW!

The Brazilian outside hitter and still one of the world’s best spikers is currently recovering from an injury. BB hurt himself in their first World Cup match against Egypt last Nov. 20th.
After finishing in the Top 3 to qualify for the 2012 Olympics at the recently concluded 2011 FIVB Women’s World Cup, Italy, USA and China were welcomed with a celebration as soon as they returned home.
