This is so MESSED UP IRAN! It was announced a few months ago that Iran would be singing a different tune and would start allowing women to enter the stadium and watch sports, ie volleyball.

2004 Olympic gold medalist , Sergio, is on Brazil’s team roster for the 2015 season. If things go well, we will most likely see the 39 year old next year at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

The FIVB is pleased to announce that the FIVB Volleyball World League 2015 Group 1 Finals will be played at the Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The tourney will serve as a test event for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

Andrzej Lemek, General Secretary of the Polish Volleyball Federation, states that Poland is willing to HOST the World League Finals if Brazil can’t.

USA will host Asian Champions Iran, Olympic Champions Russia & World Champions Poland during the Intercontinental Round of the 2015 FIVB World League.
