If you’re a superstar like 2014 World League MVP Taylor Sander, most club teams would try their best to keep you for more than 1 season.
Italian club team, Verona, has extended Taytay’s contract for 2 more seasons.
The 23 year old has released this statement:
“I’m very happy with the renewal of the contract.
This year was a big learning experience for me and I want to be better next year.
For the next season I want to really continue to get better and be in the top 3 of the Italian League 3.
I really love Verona it is one of the best cities in Italy and I’m lucky to live here. The people and fans are great.
The club is good and I continue to grow more more comfortable with everybody who works here.”
During the 2014/2015 season, Sander and Verona finished the regular season in 5th. They lost to Perugia in the Quarterfinals.
On the other hand, Sander has a busy year with Team USA. They are scheduled to compete at the 2015 NORCECA Continental Championship and 2015 World League.
