Over the weekend, the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist is reportedly engaged to Japanese rugby player, Shinomiya Youhei.
Shinomiya and Erika met last summer through a common friend. Our source says that Erika even went to Italy with her bronze medal after the 2012 Olympics to spend time with her man who plays professionally in Italia.
The wedding is going be next spring.

In case you didn’t know. Erika’s teammate, Yoshie Takeshita, is also married to another Japanese athlete. The phenomenal star setter tied the knot with Hirotaka Egusa a few months ago.
