We had the chance to chat with Nellie and we took the opportunity to ask her if she has any message for UCLA’s women’s volleyball team who is heading to San Antonio, Texas this coming weekend for the 2011 NCAA Final 4. In case you didn’t know, Nellie played for UCLA back in college from 2005-2008. She is now playing professionally in Azerbaijan and she’s also been a member of the women’s national team since graduating.
Anyways, here’s Nellie’s special message for her fellow UCLA Bruins:
Mike Sealy and UCLA VOLLEYBALL…I want you to know that UCLA Bruins all over the WORLD will be cheering you on. ENJOY EVERY minute because it is an experience that you’ll never forget. GIVE each point, each set, and each match everything you have…its time to bring a NATIONAL Volleyball Championship back to UCLAs campus!

As a side note, we have a feeling UCLA will play against USC in the Final match with the Bruins taking home the crown.
