The star player of Russian club team Lokomotiv Novosibirsk and 2012/2013 Champions League gold medalist, Lukáš Diviš, is seriously injured. He has left his club team to prepare for a knee surgery. The procedure will be in Italy and he will also stay there for recovery and rehabilitation.

Together with Denis Biryukov, MVP Nilsson and Alexander Butko, they defeated defending champs Zenit Kazan and won an epic 5 set match versus Italian club team Cuneo for the gold.
