Watch out Eczacıbaşı & Vakifbank!
Fenerbahce is also working on forming its very own “Dream Team” for next season.
The foreign players who are confirmed to play for the Turkish club team are Korea’s volleyball superstar Kim Yeon Koung, Colombian scoring machine Madelaynne Montaño and French middle blocker Christina Bauer.
A source familiar with the ongoing negotiations tells Volleywood:
“Fenerbahce is going to BE STRONGER next season and will for sure have The TEAM to play against Vakifbank and Eczacıbaşı. The team has hired Lucia Bosetti, MVP of the 2013/2014 Italian League, and one of the world’s best setters Eleonora Lo Bianco. In just a few days, Fenerbahce will officially announce the news.”
The source also adds that Lucia received an offer from Fenerbahce that she could not refused.
“She is Italy’s best player right now and therefore she deserves a huge paycheck.”
Rumor has it that American outside hitter Kristin Richards Hildebrand might also be part of Fenerbahce’s “Dream Team”.
No doubt the Turkish League is going to be VERY exciting with all these major transfer news!
In just a few days, let’s wait and see what Vakifbank’s roster will look like. Again, Sheilla Castro is reportedly their “Most Expensive Player” for the 2014/2015 season.
