Lili arrived in style!

Last December 30th, 2012, 2 time Olympic silver medalist Lindsey Berg arrived in Turkey to join her new club team Fenerbahce after 4 months of inactivity.

In case you forgot, Lili unofficially stated after the 2012 Olympics that she’s going to take a break from volleyball to focus on other adventures, ie fashion boutique in LA. Lili will now play on the same side with international rivals such as Paula Pequeno (Brazil), Eda Erdem (Turkey) and Kim Yeon Koung (Korea). Take note the last time Miss Berg saw these players were at the 2012 Olympics.

We bet it’s going to be awkward for a day or 2. Hah!

After landing, Lili was accompanied by Fenerbahce’s manager to watch a basketball match. Based on how she looks at this pic, Lili looks ready to trade her Celine or Louboutins for volleyball shoes.

Then after the New Year, Lili did her required physical examination which reportedly lasted for 6 hours.

She is scheduled to meet her team today, January 3rd.

No doubt having the 32 year old Berg on the team will make Fenerbahce stronger moving forward. It’s been lackluster since the 2012/2013 season started.
