The Rio 2016 Organising Committee has released the daily competition schedule for the 2016 Olympics, with Beach VB scheduled to take place at Copacabana Beach & volleyball at the Maracanãzinho.

Beach volleyball will hold midnight matches on Copacabana beach during the 2016 Olympics, creating a party atmosphere and allowing easy access to the neighborhood’s bars.

Hosts Japan will be joined by the world champions and two teams from each of the five continental confederations for both the women’s event & the men’s competition. The winners & runners-up will qualify for the 2016 Olympics.
