We’ve been informed that 2014 World Champion Michal Winiarski – who has retired from the National Team – is out for a few months due to the BACK INJURY.

FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship MVP & gold medalist Mariusz Wlazly has been named SportsMan of the Year at the SportAccord Euronews Awards Ceremony in Sochi, Russia.

Last October 2014, we reported that Polish opposite spiker Grzegorz Bociek was diagnosed with cancer of the lymphatic system. He had to be away from volleyball to undergo chemotherapy.
