Volleyballs from Richard Gomez

Maraming Salamat Goma!

Pinoy Celebrity A-Lister, Richard “Goma” Gomez, donated volleyballs to the varsity teams of Western Leyte College in Ormoc and Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST).

The multi-awarded actor is not just a volleyball player but also a big supporter of the sport. He was among the well known attendees at the 1999 World Grand Prix (we remember because his face was shown on our TV screen) who witnessed the Leila Barros Mania in Manila.

Anyways, according to Spike It Hard Goma has been playing volleyball everywhere from the barangay hall courts in Makati (a famous city in the Philippines), with various volleyball groups, and has even joined various volleyball tournaments.

Richard, who is also into fencing, gold and basketball, is planning on playing for Team TVM in the upcoming PVC Invitational Cup this August.

As a side note, he and his wife, Congresswoman Lucy Torres, are very much involved in outreach activities like medical missions, community programs, and other various activities in their region.

From the bottom of our hearts, we’d like to thank Richard for supporting the sport and donating the balls. No doubt these young players will be more inspired to play the sport and enhance their skills.

Great job Marc & thank you for letting us share this post!
