Argentina’s Sebastian Sole has officially joined Trentino as of today.
We’re quite surprised but so happy for our dear Sole to be in the Italian League!

What a true athlete!
Despite the fact that he has left his Italian club team, Trentino, to play in Turkey this coming season, the great Osmany Juantorena took time to visit his old team during a team practice.
Os says…
“I always enjoy returning to “PalaTrento” and I wanted to wish good luck to my old buddies and newcomers. Trentino Volley has set up an interesting team this year which can do well. This will always be the club of my heart and I am sure that the new team will still entertain the fans.”
In case you didn’t know, Matey Kaziyski, Raphael, Mitar Djuric and Coach Radostin Stoytchev have also left Trentino to seek greener pastures together with Osmany. Their new team, Halkbank Ankara, is indeed very lucky to have such great athletes and a great coach for the 2013/2014 season.
Expect domination from Halkbank!
On the other hand, Trentino who has hired American setter Donald Suxho and Bulgarian superster Tsvetan Sokolov to strengthen its squad. They started their first training session 2 days ago and here’s a video and some pics:
