Just 5 months ago, Egypt was in total chaos.
Things have changed in Egypt for the better. This victory means more than just a volleyball crown.
Egyptian club team, Al Ahly, won its 2nd consecutive African Club Title after defeating Kenyan Prisons in 3 sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-10). The final match was held in Cairo, Egypt at the Al Ahly Club Hall. This victory grants Al Ahly a ticket to represent Africa at the 2011 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship for the 2nd straight year.
Another Egyptian team won the bronze medal! El Guish cruised past University of Rwanda in straight sets.
More than 4,000 fans watched and supported their home team.
