We’re not kidding!
Just when we started loving the Stanford Cardinal aka The 2010 NCAA Champs then they lost in 3 straight sets against #13 ranked Warriors from the University of Hawaii. UH has this German guy named Jonas Umlauft who was almost unstoppable. Seriously! BB Jonas was having one of the best nights of his volleyball career. We hope he gets to do it over and over again throughout the season.

As for Stanford, Lawson was the only one who shined when it comes to scoring for the team. Spencer McLaughlin aka Cynthia Barboza’s boyfriend had a forgettable night. The Libero Shoji played amazing but not enough to take care of Umlauft hard hits. Overall, Stanford made too many mistakes with their serves and heavily relied on Lawson. We were quite disappointed that Gus Ellis didn’t get to HIT the ball at all. Well Gus had 0 kill/s 0 error/s in 2 attempts. Did he even play?
STATS:
Well for sure Stanford will work harder the next time they play. On the other hand, if UH keeps playing the way they did against Stanford then they have a bright 2011 season.
