(Update) Sad Sad Sad…Remember THIS?
According to THIS ARTICLE, Dunaway told an officer “she was text messaging when she struck and killed a 2-year-old child and injured the child’s mother as the pair walked in a Snyder Lane crosswalk, court records show.”
The mother, Ling, is still recovering from the serious injuries she sustained and will not be able to attend the funeral service for her 2 year old daughter, Calli. Her family will stream it online for her to be part of the final goodbye.
Ling does not have any medical insurance so an account has been set up for people to donate. Bank Info:
Redwood Credit Union @ 250 Rohnert Park Expressway, Rohnert Park, 94928.
The Murrays have also opened the Calli Ann Memorial Fund, or CAMF, at Weels Fargo Bank in Rohnert Park.
As for Kaitlyn, the DA’s office will still decide if criminal charges will be filed. If Dunaway was using a cell phone, then she could be in violation of driving laws at the time she hit the little girl and her mother.
First of all, we send our condolences to the Murrays. An innocent life was lost in this tragedy. We also pray for Kaitlyn to have strength to face what the future brings.
