Coach Marco Bonitta has revealed his 18 player preliminary roster for the upcoming European Championship hosted by The Netherlands and Belgium from September 26th – October 4th.
Noticeably missing on the list is none other than veteran superstar player Francesca Piccinini.
We’re not sure why Picci is not on the list BUT it could be due to several reasons such as current physical condition, technical decision or personal choice.
On the other hand, Carolina Costagrande, Antonella Del Core and Eleonora Lo Bianco are back after missing the recently concluded FIVB Grand Prix.
