Lots of kids learned from the BEST indeed this past weekend. De Cecco was joined by Coach Weber and teamamtes Sebastian Sole, Pablo Crer and Bruno Romanutti with the special participation of girlfriend Francesca Ferretti.

For the first time in Argentina, a volleyball star like Luciano De Cecco organized a training camp with important personalities of the National Team.
It was a three-day camp with lessons about physical care and especially technical work for 70 kids (12 to 21 years old) from all cardinal points of the country at Macabi club Buenos Aires. De Cecco coach and trained the young players in match situations and share his experience.
The 25 years old Italian Copra Piacenza setter gave children the opportunity to have a large talk with Datavolley specialist and also National Team statesman Genaro Lopez to know how teams studies the opponents; to see close a training session of Argentine squad; participate in a volleyball clinic by Javier Weber and have a break with some professional players like middle blockers Sebastian Sole and Pablo Crer, opposite hitters Bruno Romanutti and Ivan Castellani and wing spiker Ezequiel Palacios.
De Cecco´s girldfriend, the Italian Francesca Ferretti (national team setter) helped Luciano especially with the female training, while former coach of Turkish Ziraat Bankasi Juan Manuel Barrial advised boys on court.
“I am excited because some of this boys and girls traveled more than 20 hours to be part of the training camp. I took pictures with them, gave them some autographed balls, a diploma and all my love. It won´t be the last camp, for sure. I am glad to do this in my country”, he said at last.
If we only knew that Sole would attend the camp, we would’ve been there too!

On a serious note, congrats to Luciano and his crew for a successful camp! Maybe he should do World Training Camp and visit cities from around the world. Why not right?

Luciano De Cecco organiza un campus de entrenamiento en Argentina
El armador de la Selección lanzó este sábado un campus de entrenamiento para jugadores y jugadoras de vóleibol. El mismo se realizará en la provincia de Buenos Aires el 26 de julio, tras la finalización de la actual Liga Mundial.
Tal como se realiza habitualmente en el básquetbol, el ex jugador de Piacenza compartirá sus experiencias con los niños y adolescentes que sueñan con llegar a ser profesionales. Habrá ejercicios en la cancha, charlas con prestigiosas personalidades del ambiente y la posibilidad de aprender de la mano del argentino que jugó una final de la Superliga italiana después de 16 años, jugó un juego olímpico y doscientos partidos internacionales con apenas 25 años.
El Campus se desarrollará entre el viernes 26 al domingo 28 de julio y los inscriptos se alojarán en el Club Macabi de San Miguel, provincia de Buenos Aires, para participar de las tres jornadas.
Los interesados deberán tener entre 12 y 18 años de edad, descargar la ficha de inscripción del sitio www.somosvoley.com y enviarla por mail a campuslucianodececco@gmail.com. Hay cupos limitados y el costo es de $1300 (pesos argentinos) o de 200 dólares estadounidenses para extranjeros. Hay tiempo hasta el 19 de julio para adjudicarse uno de los 200 lugares.
Luciano De Cecco organized a training camp in Argentina
Argentine National team captain launched on Saturday a training camp for men and women volleyball players. The same will take place in Buenos Aires on July 26, after World League finals.
As usually done in basketball, Piacenza´s setter will share his experiences with children and teens who dream of becoming professional. There will be on-court drills, talks with prestigious personalities of the environment and the ability to learn from the first Argentinian who played the Scudetto finals after 16 years, played a Olympic game and two hundreds of international matches.
The Campus will run from Friday 26 to Sunday July 28 and the enrolled will stay in the Maccabi Club of San Miguel, Buenos Aires, to participate in the three days.
Applicants must be between 12 and 18 years old, download the registration form from the website www.somosvoley.com and e-mail it to campuslucianodececco@gmail.com. There is limited seating and the cost is $ 1300 (pesos) for Argentine children or 200 dollars for foreigners. There is time until July 19 to get one of 200 places.
