Even before she was recognized as the MVP of the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup, we already knew she’d take the award.

We’d also like to add this great quote by Brazil’s coach Guimaraes regarding volleyball as a team sport.
“Volleyball is a team sport and the individual performances are the result of the help of teammates, so I don’t have a choice of any player above the rest of the team. If you check the list of the top scorers, no Brazilian player is there. It doesn’t have importance in team sport.”
