We should always remember that behind every great team is a great coach.
Congrats to Jenny Lang Ping and China on becoming the new Olympic Champions! In case you didn’t know, The “Iron Hammer” now has 4 Olympic medals. As an athlete, Lang Ping won GOLD in 1984.
As a coach, she has 2 silver medals, 1996 with China and 2008 with USA, and the gold China just won in Rio.
After a disastrous 2012 Olympics, Lang Ping returned as the head coach in 2013 and has successfully recruited young but talented players.

2015 – FIVB World Cup Gold Medal
2016 – Olympic Gold Medal
She is no doubt one of the best players and coaches in the history of volleyball.
We wonder if she’s going to stay as a coach.
