SERRRIOUSSSLLLLLYYYYY….
She needs to come back to the Cuban National Team!
Although it won’t happen anymore (unless she totally changes her mind), we think Cuba has a better shot of achieving success with her on the team. Calderon and Carcases plus Palacios?
YES!
In case you didn’t know, a lot of has happened in Rosir’s vida (life) since finishing 4th at the Beijing Olympics. She became a mother the following year but also suffered a heartbreaking loss with the death of her father, the late coach Felipe Calderon.
She stayed in Cuba for 2 years but was inactive.
Then during the 2011/2012 season, she finally got the clearance to play abroad and had a successful season with Turkish club team, Galatasaray.
Rosir is still one of the world’s best spikers!
Miss her?
We do!
